Cultural History Trails

Join us on a hike through the cultural landscape!

Along the way, you’ll learn more about settlements and different types of land during the 18th and 19th centuries. By learning how the landscape was used, you’ll also gain an understanding of how people lived during this period.

Historical Trails

There are four historical trails through Äskhult, marked in red, yellow, blue, and green.

From 2023 to 2026, the West Coast Foundation will be maintaining Äskhult’s cultural trails, and some of the trails will have alternative routes during this time. Work is underway to complete trail markings, footbridges, and a map of the trails in the coming years. You can find more information on-site in the village.
