Kulturhuset Fyren

Right in the heart of Kungsbacka stands a beautiful round building that serves as a hub for cultural activities, bustling with life in every corner. At Kulturhuset Fyren, Kungsbacka's cultural centre, you’ll find the Kungsbacka Art Gallery, a library, and a café.

Outside, the Kungsbackaån River flows by at a leisurely pace, and there is both a playground and sculptures to discover in the park outside.

The Park

The park surrounding Kulturhuset Fyren is a place to relax and enjoy. The large trees, winding stone paths, and low walls lead you to the entrance of the Kulturhuset Fyren.

Try out Eric Theret’s magnificent granite chairs and see Kjell Lundberg’s concrete sculptures. The kids can play in the boat sculpture and explore the maze’s mysterious paths.

Kungsbacka Art Gallery

Here you can see exhibitions by international, national, and local artists, with a focus on contemporary art. Admission is free to all exhibitions.

Each year, four exhibitions are presented that, in various ways, describe, analyze, and debate what is currently happening in our society.

Library

The library offers fun events for the whole family. Authors visit for book signings, workshops are held for both children and adults, and popular labs attract young people.
