Fishing
In Kungsbacka, there are over 20 waterways and lakes teeming with fish - not to mention the entire ocean, of course!
In fact, in Kungsbacka you can even catch fish right in the middle of town. The Kungsbacka River is home to trout, salmon, and some of Sweden’s best perch fishing.
Along our 80-kilometer coastline, you can fish with hand gear - casting rods, bait rods, or other hook gear - from the shore, islets, and skerries. Good spots for trout fishing include Tjolöholm, Hållsundsudde, Vallda Sandö, and Hanhals Holme. Wheelchair-accessible fishing spots are available at Gottskär Harbor and Lerkil Harbor.
Regardless of your fishing luck, an early morning by the sea or a lake is a wonderful nature experience, and that’s often when the fish are biting. If you want to fish in lakes, there are many fishing areas to choose from.
