Tjolöholm Beach
Swimming at Tjolöholm has a long tradition. For many generations, visitors have enjoyed swimming in the saltwater below the castle.
Today, there is a small sandy beach here for young children and a wheelchair-accessible swimming pier. For the more adventurous, there are several rocky outcrops around the Tjolöholm Peninsula that are perfect for a dip in the salty waters of Kungsbackafjorden!
The swimming pier at the castle’s beach is open from June 1 to August 31.
The large grassy areas are perfect for a sunny picnic by the sea. On really hot summer days, many people cool off under the massive canopies of the old trees.
Parking
The large parking lot at Tjolöholm is a paid parking lot. It is about an 800-meter walk from the parking lot to the swimming area.
Always park in a way that allows emergency services to get through. It is important that you follow the parking rules.
