The Viewpoint at Björkris

High up on the mountain in Björkris is a spectacular wooden viewpoint that looks like a giant dome-shaped pergola. From here, you have a fantastic view of the entire town of Kungsbacka, and you can even catch a glimpse of Kungsbackafjorden to the west.

Tölöberg

Climb the 179 steps to the old water tower from 1897. From here, you can see almost all of Kungsbacka, stretching out toward the sea and Kungsbackafjorden.

Naturum Fjärås Bräcka

Take a seat at one of the lovely rest areas on the edge of Bräckan, 60 meters above sea level. From here, you have a fantastic view of Halland’s largest lake, Lygnern, and the sea. It is the only place in Sweden where you can see both the sea and a lake at the same time.

The Pilot Lookout on Mönster

At the far end of Onsala, on the Mönster peninsula, lies the Hållsundsudde-Sönnerbergen Nature Reserve. At the very top of Mönster stands the old pilot lookout, offering a beautiful view of the sea and out toward Nidingen. On a clear day, you can also see the Väröbruk industrial area and the Ringhals nuclear power plant.
